Welcome to the IsInSoc (Islamic Information Society) website. The Islamic Information Society was established with the following aims in mind;

  • to offer authentic Islamic knowledge taught by reliable teachers.
  • to translate from arabic the masterpieces of ancient times and make them available to English speakers.

Our teachers have spent many years learning the various Islamic sciences at the feet of the Shuyook who in turn received their knowledge from their teachers. In this manner an unbroken chain exists directly back to our master, Sayidna Muhammed (pbuh).

Commentary on 'The Initiation'

This book is a commentary on the book called ‘The Initiation’ which is a Fiqh book of the Hanafi school and is at a similar level to ‘Nur al idah’.
The book provides rich commentary on the source text and was written by Qadi Zadah, who was a leading figure in the Hanafi school in his time and he was also a descendant of the companion Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him).

  The Messenger of Allah

(may Allah bestow peace & blessings upon him)
said:

Mu’adh Ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, “O Messenger of Allah, inform me of actions that will enter me into Paradise and distance me from the Fire.” He replied, “You have asked about immensity as it is only easy for those that Allah makes it easy. Worship Allah without associating anything with Him, establish prayer, give alms, fast Ramadan and go the House for pilgrimage...”
